What’s the talk about:
Sugar has a bittersweet reputation when it comes to health. Whilst it occurs naturally in fruit and vegetables, the problems occur when we consume too much added sugars found in the most unsuspected items in our pantry including flavored yogurts, cereals, soups, bread, and ketchup. High intake of added sugars are associated with chronic diseases such as heart diseases, diabetes, and obesity.
Why is it addictive? How much is ok, and how does our body respond to food loaded with sugar? We’ll address these questions with you, share ways to subtract added sugar, and how to strike the right balance.
